Greensulate
Posted by admin in Real Estate on July 1st, 2010
A few people were not sure where I landed work-wise after graduating, and an acquaintance recently asked my friend if I was an event planner!
I am in Business Development at a green roof company who designs, engineers, installs, and maintains green roof technology.

Press from Strand Hotel Party
Posted by admin in Real Estate on May 21st, 2010
The Buds have really grown up! In just two years, we’ve shifted from hosting impromptu art and wine gatherings to working with major developers and hoteliers at rooftop parties. On June 8th we will benefit from a major fashion fundraiser. The press exposure is excellent; MillionTreesNYC is what makes our organization so attractive.
The Junior Committee’s mission is to bring the new leaders of NYC, who, on top of successful careers, have committed themselves to the outcome of our future environment. One of the most incredible aspects of the Strand Hotel party: all of the proceeds (approximately $5500) will to toward MillionTreesNYC.
Reasons to visit Strand: Don Glassie, the owner, is an environmentalist. The Strand Hotel is a green hotel right off Bryant Park, which makes it THE place for drinks after your HBO Summer Series movie on the park. The Top of the Strand atmosphere, created by set designer Lydia Marks of Sex in the City, is HOT!
Million Trees NYC

Thanks to the many people who have joined the NYRP and Million Trees NYC movement, we’ve jumped 30% ahead of schedule. Individuals and corporate sponsors give New York Restoration Project the power to be the city’s largest property manager and one of the most financially solvent non profit organizations. Somewhere along the line, many people lose touch of an essential and flawless aspect of community: we are all connected to each other and nature. NYRP attracts people who understand this, and go out of their way to plan amazing parties to spread the word!
Emily Conner, your generosity is unyielding. Thank you so much for organizing this Donna Karan event, dedicating your social network to us, and bringing Guest of a Guest to shoot for their site.

Mike Namer offered his entire art gallery and beautiful Village Green sales office to host the Young Real Estate Professionals benefit for Million Trees. Gallery 151 recently added the photos to their website to recap this event which raised approximately $2000 for Million Trees!
